BRASIL - Bankers' Blanket Bond Insurance

The coverage afforded by a standard Bankers’ Blanket Bond policy can be divided into seven sections, as follows:

	Infidelity: dishonest/fraudulent acts of employee.		Forged/Counterfeit Securities.
	Valuable property on banks' premises.		Counterfeit Currency.
	Valuable property in transit.		Damage to Offices and Contents.
	Forgery.

From this basic structure we are able to examine, amend and/or extend each clause or paragraph as necessary, to meet the individual needs of each client. Having completed this task, and assessed these needs we may well recommend additional specialist coverage, utilising a standalone policy to address those areas not sufficiently covered by the Bankers’ Blanket Bond. The specialist advice we offer is vital in the assessment of the bank's exposure, as the depth of coverage offered by the various wordings available differs substantially, some offering wider coverage than others.
